RESERVATION POLICY:
All bookings are held for 10 minutes after the booking time, and the table is then released on a first-come, first-served basis.
A 12.5% service fee (tips) will be added to tables of 10 or more.
For large bookings, a deposit may be required.
RUGBY AND OTHER SPORTING EVENTS:
All reservations for Rugby games (and other specified events) require a R200 deposit per person. This deposit is non-refundable and will be credited against your bill, pro-rata per person attending – Example: If you book for 10 people, and only 4 arrive, then R800 will be credited towards your bill. The remaining R1200 will cover the empty seats. The deposit does not cover tips, which must be paid in addition to the bill.
ANIMALS & PETS:
The Blind Tiger is animal and pet friendly. We have a resident cat – Charlie – and all other animal visitors are welcome who follow the same rules as all our guests: as long as you don’t disturb others, you’re welcome.
NO CORKAGE
We work hard to provide an interesting food and drinks menu, and do not allow any outside food or drink to be consumed at the Blind Tiger. If you are having a birthday party, and would like to bring a cake, please check with us beforehand.
RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED
By entering the Blind Tiger Café, you:
Enter entirely at your own risk;
Consent to our use of cameras and recording equipment and understand that such recordings may be utilized against you in the event of the suspicion of a commission of an offence;
Consent to photography or videography that may be used for promotional purposes;
Consent to having your person and effects searched on entry and / or exit;
Consent to leaving the premises at any time if requested; for inappropriate behaviour, breaching the Blind Tiger Café’s rules, and / or for any other lawful reason; and to being physically removed if you fail to comply with such request;
Undertake not to bring any food or alcohol onto the premises;
Agree that the Blind Tiger Café is not responsible for lost or stolen items;
Indemnify and hold the Blind Tiger Café, its owners, management and staff, harmless as to any damages, whether general or special, sustained by you or any third party in respect of whom you may have a claim, howsoever arising, including as a result of the Blind Tiger Café’s negligence; whether as to life, limb or property; and including any consequential loss, loss of income, loss of support and / or loss of the amenities of life;
Agree that the terms of this notice are severable; should any legislation restrict or prohibit the effect of this notice, such restriction or prohibition shall not invalidate the balance of this notice.
